All of the weathering is cut away, leaving bright, fresh redwood. This is rustic character grade: knots, sapwood and heartwood together, with the color running from pale cream to deep red inside the same box. Still 100% reclaimed, just without the grey. Classic shiplap rabbet. Boards overlap to leave a clean, even reveal line between each course.

Specifications

• Profile: Shiplap
• Thickness: 1/2"
• Length: 48"
• Face widths: 4.75" (5 inch) and 6.75" (7 inch)
• Grade: Rustic character. Redwood is naturally rot and insect resistant and it holds its shape through swings in moisture. That makes it a long standing choice for saunas, closets, blanket chests, pantries and laundry rooms. With nothing sealing it, the wood keeps its scent and keeps breathing.

Recommended use

Saunas and steam adjacent rooms
Closets, pantries and laundry rooms
Interior wall paneling and ceilings
Accent walls
Chests, built-ins and cabinetry liners

Resawn, and sanded if you want it

Every board ships resawn, which leaves a fine even mill texture across the face.
